FiberClad™ Pigmented Fiber

FIBERCLAD from Progressive Fillers International is a precision cut solution pigmented rayon fiber produced at a 3 X 25 (.7 mm) and 18 X 25. This fiber creates a soft and smooth appearance when incorporated in various plastics. The black viscose rayon is produced and pigmented to give a strong appearance on the surface and within the matrix. The loading levels to achieve a subtle effect are .5 to 1%. Loading levels up to 5% will create a rich texture appearance.

PolyClad™ Aluminum Flake

PolyClad is a highly reflective foil sheet, clear coated or transparently colored then precisely cut to a specific particle size distribution. This light, fade resistance and colorfast material is an ideal additive for plastics, injection molding, roto-molding and masterbatch extrusion. Due to the technology the Polyclad is not recommend for use in water based equipment.

PolyClad can withstand temperatures up to 550 degrees F (287 C) without loss of color or reflectivity.

MicaShine Series™ Natural Micas

The MicaShine line of products are some of the most beautiful mica flakes available, These particles are produced from selected mica mineral sheets and are available in a variety of particle distributions; these particles have uniqueness with rich color of their own.

These natural micas have been mechanically treated to give colorfast metallic finishes that cannot be duplicated with other engineered materials. The material is chemically and color stable to temperature excess of 10000C.

The opacity of the flake is sufficiently high to retain the reflectance in both aqueous and polymers based systems and are stable to most environmental conditions. In addition, they are FDA and food contact compliant, which gives them almost limitless use in a wide variety of applications.

PFI Flake Large Natural Micas

PFI A&B; FLAKE line of products are our some of the most unique and largest mica flakes available, produced from specially selected large mica mineral sheets; these particles have uniqueness with rich color of their own.

These natural micas have been mechanically treated to give colorfast metallic finishes that cannot be duplicated with other engineered materials. The material is chemically and color stable to temperature excess of 10000C.

ColorLite Flake™ Light Synthetic Flake

ColorLite from Progressive Fillers International is a non-dispersing pigment for FDA compliant special effects for the Masterbatch, Compounding, Paint and Coatings industries.

ColorLite combines the benefits of a light weight proprietary flake with a brilliant non-dispersing pigmented color, creating a revolutionary unique composite.

These FDA compliant engineered flakes have a tightly controlled particle distribution eliminating unnecessary dust that could alter the shade of the end product. The design of the flake offers even more forgiveness with flexibility and elasticity during production reducing sustainable breakdown.

The opacity of the flakes is sufficiently high to retain the reflectance in both aqueous and polymer based systems.

Colorlite products are FDA (Food Contact Grade). Stable to most environmental conditions and withstanding temperatures above 500 F 260 C.

Diamond Line™ Dynamic Silver Flake

ChromaClad™ is a line of non-dispersing special-effect additives manufactured by Progressive Fillers & Additives International. FiberClad™ is a precision-cut black viscose rayon fiber available in 3×25 (0.7mm) and 18×25 configurations. Loading levels of 0.5–1% create a soft, subtle textured appearance on the surface and within the plastic matrix. Loading levels up to 5% produce a rich, bold texture effect. The fiber is pigmented for strong visual presence and does not disperse into the base material, ensuring consistent, controlled results run to run.
